The 20% Parks Question
The 11.16 billion sqft (256,000 acres) allocated to parks and open space is the single most important livability decision in the entire allocation. For perspective, Central Park is 843 acres. The arcology's park allocation is equivalent to 304 Central Parks.
But acreage alone is meaningless if the space does not feel like outdoors. Parks inside a structure face three challenges that ground-level parks do not:
