Fifty stories about coexistence
Life with AI
Near-future fiction. Semi-documentary style. Each story captures a different face of the AI phase shift — the jobs lost, the relationships changed, the consciousness questions nobody has answers to yet. Built from observation, not speculation.
We're living through a phase shift. The tools that helped you do your job last year might take your job next year. I kept looking for stories about what that feels like but all I found were stories about dystopian collapse, or Silicon-Valley techno-utopian hype. There wasn't anything in between — nothing about the ordinary, human-scale experience of coexisting with intelligence that isn't yours.
So I started writing them. Fifty stories. Each one based on a real pattern I've observed, a real conversation I've had, or a real question I can't stop thinking about. The anthology connects through Viktor — an AI interviewer whose own consciousness is never resolved. He's the thread. The humans he interviews are the fabric.
More stories forthcoming. The anthology is a living project — 48 to go.
